the most terrible thing

AHHHHHH we still don't have internet - sorry we couldn't reply to comments the last time around. There seems to be a notion that John and Conrad are dead and replaced! This is not the case at all. Conrad is still living with us, and John lives just 6 blocks away from us - we've actually been uploading the comics from his place until we get hooked up to sweet, sweet internet.

Actually, having no internet has been pretty stressful, since we tend to do most of our business over the web ... if you guys e-mail us and we don't get back to you right away, please be patient! This is a difficult time for us. *sob* The comic will continue to be posted a tad slow, and we'll be slow to reply to comments.

I did that when i moved into my new place, i dont envy your current state. I snapped around day 3 ...it was not pretty. I drove around my neighborhood just to steal internet, i'm not proud of the things i did. ...don't judge me!

Oh man, I totally know the feeling. When we moved to Japan in 2004, and then when we came back to the US in 2007, we were without internet for several weeks each time. It's very difficult to get things done! D:

I visited a college mate in Nepal, during so visited parts of India, there was decent connection almost everywhere but nothing beat the stuff I found in Japan, haha.

I bet it's Day 3 that didn't actually happen. This is the Internet Age. No one knows how to sit around and "talk" anymore. All communication is done through email, IM, and chat room.

Conversation is a dead language. :>}

That sucks. I remember when I went overseas I was without internet for a month and a half. I had to go outside to amuse myself. *shudders*

I hope your internet comes in soon. Have you tried using the internet on your cell phones or anything?

Have you considered calling the local Library to see if they provide Internet access and, if so, inquired what's required to get a card? There usually are restrictions on the access (certain sites blocked, time limits, requiring specific permission for using flash drives, etc.) Given that you just need to check on comments, it could be enough.

I'm shooting my mouth off here without really knowing how you are uploading and I didn't thoroughly check the older news, so I may just be sounding stupid.

and library internet is seriously depressing. I just about burst into tears this morning when I couldn't get my laptop to connect to my uni's net. I hassled IT and we got it sorted, my net is capped to dial up speed at home until the 28th. I can't imagine how people live/d without it.

It is truly the most terrible thing.
I've been sailing across the Pacific (Sasebo, JA -> Hawaii, US) for two weeks - even using slow internet is so painful, especially when there's five other crewmembers waiting to use the computer while a page loads.

Don't loose hope just yet! Head to the nearest Starbucks or restaurant and use their wi-fi. And if they charge you for using their internet, charge them with a fist-full of POW! or send them the goddamn Batman (aka Hawk) :P

I kinda don't have internets. I am still in college so I have campus wireless. But none in my room. I guess the good thing is that it gets me away from my room. Oh yea, internets is on purpose. I started doing it to mock a certain politician and it became a habit.

My internet always stops working without fail right when I'm about to do research for any school work that needs it, and doesn't come back up until about 5 minutes after the project is due.
I can't count the times I've waited outside the school library in the wee hours of the morning so I could work on their computers.

Yes poor babies, following their dreams and becoming successful entrepreneurs in an ambitious and growing field that appeals to a large segment of society and takes advantage of the newest forms of entertainment over the farthest reaching medium in the world.
They should definitely get real jobs rather than use the skills they've developed through hardwork, extensive study, and years of arduous effort in order to successfully create new and distinctive works enjoyed by thousands of people around the world.
Because running a successful webcomic and clothing company is so very easy and clearly isn't a real job.

They're actually scattered all around Gowanda and Collins Center, hehe, it's like 20-some people. They've been making facebook posts about it, and my parents have been filling me in. Thanks though!

(My Grandfather lives off Point Peter Road, right near the reservoir. Seeing those photos was really amazing and hard to believe.)

Argh! I feel for you. I got back from vacation on... -has to check a calander.- August 17th, and we come home to... the Television and Internet being cut off.. cause the check didn't go through or something. So I had to watch Movies and TV Series I have on DVD on my laptop for like five days... x__x;
