and the reason I'M at a computer rather than eating is that i'm in one of the many, many countries that doesn't celebrate thanksgiving. in my case britain :P

Well, I'm American and on the computer...
but it's because I live in Korea, and we celebrate Thanksgiving in August. LOL Sometimes I forget about US Thanksgiving. ㅋㅋㅋ

balsamic vinegar tastes sooo good! only thing on the list I drink straight from the bottle. maple syrup and honey are way to sweet.

Sometimes there is Soco mixed in with the syrup.

John! You can't solve all your problems with shots! Even if you can take shots of all things with no problems!

No shots of hot sauce!? Hot sauce is straight-up the most delicious condiment to do shots of... though probably the worse for your stomach lining.

An actual good shot involving maple syrup is as follows:

Fill shot glass 2/3 of the way with maple syrup of choice

Fill remaining 1/3 with Bailey's Irish Cream (or budget substitute)

A college friend, in a fit of self-loathing, invented the following drink and named it after himself. It has been drunk by many and enjoyed by few. John is welcome to try it.

1 shot of tequila followed immediately by 1 shot of red wine vinegar.

Oddly enough, soy sauce, salad dressing and ketchup are the exact reasons why I don't let my friends mix my drinks anymore.
It was good times up until that point. I don't clearly remember anything after that, but I'm told it quickly went downhill.

First of all, John is amazing for taking shots of Balsamic Vinegar. That's the best way to take the stuff (followed by a chomp on some Romaine lettuce imo).

Secondly, we had Thanksgiving in Japan on MONDAY \o/

So even with Holidays we're ahead of everyone :D

But Thanksgiving here is actually more of a Labour. In fact, it's usually marked on calendars as "Labor-Thanksgiving Day." I think they just added Thanksgiving on their to be hip like America.

It's not technically a drink, but I've always enjoyed eating peanuts and cashews in a shot glass, doing so right now, actually.

Salad dressing! I do that. Italian with the oil poured off to make it healthier and more vinegar-y. I use spoons for honey, not shot glasses.

Ketchup, but no mustard? An odd omission to me. Especially when you've got just about every other condiment on the list.

I have never taken a shot of any of those.

I have been known to suck the catsup right out of those stupid little packets you get from fast food joints.

And in one desperate moment a packet of salt.

It was a moment of weakness.

I do shots of sprinkles. They don't taste as good as straight sugar but they are more colorful.
