I think I'll have to take sedatives to stop me from seizing from the massive quantity of cuteness :)

Prince of Peelings

This fits all too well with the Yuko/George tangerine/orange peeling technique battles.

really, i'd love one . unfortunately my budget does not run to $200+ works of art, no matter how worth it they might be...sigh.

Love Bits

Comment by Morio kun (not verified) Tue, 01/19/2010 - 19:06

My cat gives love bites. They hurt, but I taught him over time that it hurts me when he does that. When he bites me I say is a raised tone of voice "OWWW!!!" and he looks at me confused; But over time he figured it out.

... That last panel is SO

Comment by Steffyanie (not verified) Tue, 01/19/2010 - 20:56

... That last panel is SO familiar for me. I have a kitten of four months old, got her last month. My right hand is so scratched up because she loves to do that, right there. I love her to death, and I'm okay with her nibbling, because it's adorable and doesn't hurt, but the claws... I agree with the, "OOOWWW!"

Cat Application

Comment by Ilmoran (not verified) Tue, 01/19/2010 - 22:49

I had to go through something similar when getting my cats through a rescue organization as well. There was an application, then they had to come inspect my house (to make sure it wasn't an unsecured kitten deathtrap), then I got to meet the kittens, who I promptly took home... adorable little giant fluff balls (they're Maine Coon mixed; the big one of the litter is over 10 pounds, and he's about 10 months old; the smallest of the litter is about 8 pounds).

Apparently, there's lots of sleazy people who try to adopt pets even though they don't plan to take care of them. And then there's abusive pet owners. And then there's people who try to adopt animals for the cat/dog equivalent of cock fights. So all in all, I'd rather have to go through a few extra hoops and know that other animals that pass through that organization will be going to decent homes (otherwise I might be tempted to adopt more of them!)

Scratching

Comment by Ilmoran (not verified) Tue, 01/19/2010 - 22:52

Oh and I've managed to curb the potential for my cats to play rough; if they ever claw or bite (more than a tiny little nibble), I immediately stop playing with them and ignore them for about 5 minutes. Cats hate being ignored when they think it's playtime, so it works great. Plus, I left them go crazy on their toys (which I have to take away after a few minutes, because they do go crazy... I left one out the other day and found it when I got home from work; looked like one of them actually tried to eat it....)

Fostering kittens seems the

Fostering kittens seems the way to go. The lady at the shelter pushed two kittens on me (I went in there with the idea to foster one kitten) and then called one time to make sure they weren't dead.

I filled out an application, but she didn't even read it until after I had walked out with the two kittens.

When they got fixed at three months, I adopted them without any problem when I went to pick them up.

Hello! :D So, I've jus finished reading through ALL of what you guys have made of this series so far! From the very beginning, to what you have here. Let's jus say; it took a few several hours.. & I'm now once again on a very unhealthy nocturnal-ish sleeping schedule.. xD But it was SO well worth it! I wish I would've plastered comments throughout reading all the pages as I went through.. But hopefully this ridiculous huge sum-up here at the end will do some justice to show my huge appreciation & support.

:D MANY serious props to you guys. You're an extremely awesome & VERY talented bunch! Not to mention jus seem like some genuinely "GOOD" people, which the world needs more of so I give some props to that there as well. A friend of mine, Robbert Aube, really stressed to me that I've HAD to check you guys out. He's nuts about this series :). In boot camp now. Before he left he was waiting very patiently for more merchandise to come in stock, but he would've been gone before the next date.. & I don't know if you guys would recall but he contacted you guys & you were rad enough to send him a bunch of stuff..! He was SO psyched xD He showed it all off to me like a little kid at Christmas. Anyhow, so that friend of mine & myself also; you guys create some of our all-around fave comic series. Your work is downright brilliance & I'm at the edge of my seat fer more. I'm also really enjoying the new directions it's going, with the fictional shorts & the detailed color. Beautiful, glorious stuff ;).

Awaiting patiently for more :) Keep up the brilliance, peeps. ~
