We were in Boston a few weeks back for ROFLcon, and in the evening we had the opportunity to grab dinner with Ming, Emmy, Neil and Jamie. We went to Wagamama - try the apple-lime juice and their desserts, they are pretty tasty. Afterwards they showed us around town a bit and then we bid each other adieu for the night ... in the midst of our farewells, Neil dropped this knowledge on us.

The remaining Pony Rocks will be in the store next Tuesday. We're going to get back to work - have a good weekend!

Oh my goddddd, Wagamama. Is it not amazing? It's a huge chain in the UK, and I ate there all the time when I was in London. I miss it so. I'd love to check out the new US location; if only it would expand...

Why I remember when they were still in elementary/middle school and were in the comicbook art classes I was teaching at the local art studio XDehe I KNEW those kids were so full of raw natural talent that they'd be stars some day...STARS I SAY!!! XD and look at them now!! All grown up and saving China...er being STARS! XD I love watching young artists growing up and really REALLY making a name for themselves with said talents in this crazy world of ours! ^_^<3

Ah. One thing I miss from living in Boston: Chilling out having noodles with friends at Wagamama. Especially the one in Harvard Square (the one in Quincy Market...is in Quincy Market). I like the orange-passion fruit juice a little more, but the Apple-Lime Juice is still good.

From an outsider's perspective, I've always thought the point of that whole hand holding ritual was to uphold a sense of solidarity whilst keeping physical contact of the chests down to a minimum. The thing is bro hugging doesn't really work for girls too well because of the boobs and what not.

Lesson: never attempt a bro-hug as a female. Then again why would you want to seeing as they are kind of bizarre to watch...

If ever I were to be able to get to a con or whatever where you guys were, I'd want to hug because hugs are awesome (and I'd secretly be getting a second hand hug from Neil).

But really I'd just stand at a distance and wish I could hug.

My policy on hugging is the same as my policy on handshakes. If I don't have them in a death grip, I'm not doing it right. Bear Hugs are the best hugs.

I always thought the Bro Hug just physically felt awkward, but now I can see that it's because I've always just done it wrong. I've always used a normal handshake, which leads to elbows sticking out at an uncomfortable angle when you go in close.

Neil is an awesome, awesome guy. Then again, I've been a fan since the Animutations days. He's really remained relevant in a medium that is known for such quick turnover, he's like a renaissance man in that respect. Glad you guys got to hang out with him!

I've found you must do it quickly, otherwise the awkward lingering ruins it, and you get above result. I may not be a bro, but I can do the bro hug with skill.

On another, different note, Sunday was my graduation, and as I was walking down the aisle for pictures, a sudden bolt of secondhand inspiration hit me. Thank Conrad for the inspiration, my Upside Down Diploma got the front page (and made me queen of the Grad Party)!

ive never knew it was called a bro hug it seemed too natural for me to do it i think it looses his mean by so many uses but then again ive only use it with my best buddy xD my respect yuko im an ilustrator aprentice and i can really tell that i like your style simple yet great it fills everything into the style of the storyline and so i love you guys too bad i live so far id love to meet you two in person
