Can't be any worse than watching House at dinner, needles. *shiver shiver*

I think the only thing that has disgusted me enough to not want to eat after/while seeing it was just copious amounts of physical pain, or already being sick. Gross things on tv fall into either "can watch it" or "can't watch it" there's just some shit I don't want to see. And then they say video games are what's wrong with the media.

About the only thing that makes me feel sick while watching on TV is animal cruelty and exploding puss bubbles and the like.

I also got kind of sick while watching The Fly where he's fighting everything by throwing up on it...

Before I even got to the third panel, I knew you guys were watching Bones, and I knew exactly what episode you were watching.

I ADMIT IT, I AM A BONEHEAD. (I seriously love that show much. I schedule my classes around it. I'm not kidding.)

Also, I've been known to wolf down meatloaf while watching that show just fine. My roommate would just stare at me in disbelief because I am a crazy person.

No one is just plain murdered in DC, they're always...raped, deep fried and eaten too.

I do this too. All the time. My friends say I have a problem.

I remember one that had a corpse sealed into a wine barrel...and they discovered it after a wine tasting...the wine was all jellyfied and the bones were rubbery from the high acid and fermentation process..

Didn't really make me want any wine...

Yeah, my husband has banned me from watching anything while we're eating. Bones, Fringe and CSI are my favorite shows, LOL. The balloon head episode was great, though. :)

Glad to know I'm not the only one who does this! My roomies and I watch CSI, Bones, Fringe, etc. all the time during meals (mainly dinner) and we always ask ourselves, "Why do we watch these kinds of shows while we're eating?" but nothing ever changes though haha~

I do the exact same thing, and everyone who ends up watching it with me will almost always scream "HOW can you still eat?!" at some point...

My answer? "...It's only special effects!"

I, too, was eating a noodle-meal while watching that episode. Unfortunately, my roommates wanted to try out an experimental pasta sauce recipe that night.

It was a thin sauce with a blood red color.

After the success of the recipe and the vivid detail of the episode, it was dubbed noodle bones in blood.

I didn't finish my meal that night.

The other day my husband and I had some friends over, and while we were eating I flipped on the Vanguard episode I recorded the day before, "World's Toilet Crisis." If you haven't seen it, it pretty much covers the public defication happening in other countries, and it shows people while they do their number 2's, as well as all the number 2's on the ground (and nothing is censored).

I'm amused, and little worried for myself, for the fact that I can stomach things a lot better than everyone I know in person. Because I'm the only person that ate through what we saw, and they had me change the show 5 minutes into it.

I always watch Bones or CSI: Las Vegas over dinner XD

I have the same thing. My girlfriend and I always eat dinner or breakfast watching NCIS or any of the CSI's...regularly as we watch them on Demand5 online!

Often we have to pause whilst eating and let it pass. The worst was eating spaghetti bolognese. Not the best combo with blood and guts.

I love that show, but that is ballsy of you for eating while watching it.

I am with most of these folks - My husband and I are in the middle of season 4 and we always watch it while we eat. Most of time it is ok, but every now and again we have an issue. I love it :)

I DO THE EXACT SAME THING MAN! I always watch Bones over dinner, which is totally disgusting but awesome.

My mom loves Bones. I admit I think it's pretty clever as well, along with CSI, etc, but I sometimes think we'd do better to go back to the "let's leave this to your imagination" kind of thing. I remember the beginning of the old Quincy, M.E. show, where he lifts the sheet off a body (the camera only sees the sheet) and five uniformed cops fall over in a faint.

My DH is infamous for turning on Law & Order: SVU at 7:00a when I'm trying to get ready for work. SVU is my favorite of all the L&O franchise but I can't handle that much angst and wrong so early.

I love how John's face basically acts as a gauge in this comic. As the show gets more graphic his frown gets bigger.

Oh my god, I love Bones! I have to say though, I don't anything in that show tops the episode with the liquified human remains in the bathtub. I'm not sure where that comes in the series but if you're not there yet, just wait.

Bones is also responsible for my desire to constantly insert the phrase "dancing phalanges!" into conversations.

I do this all the time, but with Dexter or CSI: Miami, or something of the like. Or just horror movies.
My boyfriend and I aren't phased by mostly anything though, so it's the same as watching a kid's show to me while I eat.

My family stopped watching CSI during dinner a long time ago for the same reason. Blegh.
We stick to NCIS and Bones, mainly because any gore is balanced out by the funny.

i love their king of the lab competitions. bones is an excellent show in general.

I'm also pretty sure I was eating and thought it was the COOLEST thing ever when they did blow the head up to see who it was. SO awesome.

I also have a tendency to eat while watching Bones or Fringe. Though there was one time I was completely and utterly hung over to the point of almost vomiting when a particular Bones episode came on and the scene was so gruesome I almost threw up on my computer. That was the only time, other than that I can stomach shows like that.

Nooooo!!! I do the same thing, always Bones for lunch. Horrible thing. But I still do it.

This is just like me :D Too bad it ain't so popular in Finland so I have to watch it alone, not even my g/f wants to watch it w/ me, but whatever... They don't know what they're missing :3 Bones is the best <3
