Also, I'm looking forward to hearing more about the the graphic novel you and Yuko are doing. I know you probably can't tell us anything about it now, but can you let us know when it comes out?

First of, great interview. Great to hear a little bit of what is going on in the background and I have to concur with everyone else....lovely photo!

Also, my little brother is currently working on his second manga book and has recently been asked with his group to do artwork for multiple conventions here in The Netherlands. I take some pride in this (as an older brother should) since we are sibbelings, but also because I introduced the guy to webcomics (meaning you guys).

Your work has been an inspiration and a motivation to keep working on what we feel to be real and, more importantly, fun!
We also keep joking on how to get you guys over here one time by starting our own succesful comic convention. Dreams of course but who knows. Would be a great excuse for Johny Wander to visit Europe. Think of all the beautiful cities and all the great food.

I used to have a friend who had a light sensitive eyes like yours, although i think he had it a bit worse. Knew him from elementary-beginning of High school, and he always had those glasses that change from sunglasses to normal glasses. but the worse part was that florescent lights hurt his eyes bad

tell the truth i never saw him without those sunglasses on

Interview was great, its always nice to learn more about the people who make a comic you love.

btw totally agree with Fleen, can't wait for Vol. 2. a lot of my favorite comics are a little bit after where Vol. 1 left off

I totally forgot to ask if you know what you eye sensitivity is called? my friend told me what his was called once but that was like in 3rd grade

Also those sketchbooks are so gorgeous! When you guys first posted the design I was like awww I wish but now they're within reach! So tempting. I have so many unfilled sketchbooks already though... ;___;

I love love LOVE your autobios. Because I relate.
But sometimes, like today, I miss your short fiction and see things you're working on and get impatient a little.

My favorite way to use a TON of eggs that I don't need: boil them up, slice them in half, pull out the yolks and make some delish devil'd eggs. They're easy cause you can just pop one in your mouth every time you go to the fridge, and since they're flavorful they don't overwhelm you with eggyness. Easier than eating omelettes and scrambled eggs for every meal.

You should hang out with us during Christmas times! We're all here and have nothing to do.
