I suck at wrapping too. Now I use bags or to cheat I use tin foil. It doubles as something to cover those holiday cookies up with or bonus toy for cats to bat at and chase around.

I haven't played Mass Effect but I'm amused anyway.

I can only wrap hard rectangular things, like books and such. Everything else I cheat and use a bag.

By bag I mean a proper wrapping bag at least, in a feat of laziness my brother tends to use the bag from the store.

Now I'm gonna work on finishing Mass Effect 2 again. Wish I had Mass Effect though. Not a fan of the default choices with a completely new character.

I too was endlessly frustrated by Garrus' calibrations. BUT THEN WE BUMPED HEADS, OH BABY

The title says it all. I wrap things so poorly, it looks like a pile of recycling with a sticker on it. I was being judged during christmas by my cousin Jake. He was looking at it funny and i told him to hurry up and open it. My gift was wrapped the worst, but the gift was the best.He got clothes and books and cd's and movies. I got him a game boy and 3 games. Good games too. My gifts were always opened last from then on and were called "the dessert."

I'm sure Yuko received a great gift.

to save money on wrapping paper and gift bags, and the fact we can never find the aforementioned items when they're needed, my mother made some bags out of spare cloth.

Each bag is a different colour and closes up with the pull of a string. I've never had to wrap anything since.

But my main point, we were promised cat stories some time ago about rook, mika, and gonta.

I used to think that Mass Effect was just one dumb shoot-em-up which unfortunately wasted the gorgeous graphics.

Oh Mass Effect 2. You learn so much about yourself playing that game. (ROMANCE SPOILERZ) I tried hooking up with Thane then found out he was a dad. I have no idea that was something that would potentially weird me out. D: Nodads4me.

But those calibrations are so important. D: How dare you disturb his work!!

Anyways, I know how it goes with present wrapping. I usually just stick it in a gift bag with some tissue paper and BAM! It's a gift! (I am a sad excuse for a human)

Paper does not ever do anything I wish it to. Thankfully I have another year until this hell starts again!

This comic makes me sort of sad, in that it marks the end of my three day delve through this series and now have to wait for comics.

Bah, I couldn't be bothered to wrap any presents I give my friends. I just give them their presents without a wrapping or with the plastic bags from the store.

They usually know what they're getting so I couldn't care less about wrapping....

My guy and I have Mass Effect "dates" in which he plays and we both pick the best options.
I did the same thing Yuko did, except with Tali (we were playing default Shepard)! Quarians are under-appreciated.

Haha omg I did this to my bf too, I totally scrutinize his wrapping skills. Lol homeboy used MEDICAL TAPE for christ sake. Its all good though, I know there was a lot of love going into that wrapping. Or at least I hope. lol

I back-seat drove my boyfriend nuts when he played ME1 and ME2. Even when Kelly was practically undressing herself every time there was a new message for Shepard, I made him stand strong and wait for Liara to become re-romanceable. Thank goodness for dlc, else his poor lady-Shepard would have gone smoochless for a whole game!

Mass Effect 2: Garrus panel 4 needs to be a T-Shirt

My little sister keeps leaving her mail here, no matter how many times I try to give it all to her (It was quite a pile!) so, finally I'd had enough, so I stuffed it all in a UPS box from something I got, wrapped it up reaaaaaaal nice, put a bow and a tag on it, and put that sucker under the tree. :3

Come Christmas, my sister opens it, she's like "Wha..? My mail?!" starts laughing, and then calls me a f**ker. lol

Amusing note, beforehand I told my mom and dad (Separately) what I was going to do, and my dad thought it was terrible and urged me not to....my mom burst out laughing and said I _had_ to do it. :)

Finally all caught up! Glad to be back on the same teporal plane as y'all!

Oh man, I tried to wrap my own gifts this year. Usually my mom helps.

It turned out horribly. oAo I had to wrap up a sunglasses case and I was like FFFFF-how do I even- and then I just ended up wrapping it around and putting on a ton of tape. Derp. I even messed up wrapping this small book, FFFFF. This is why I never wrap presents. I felt bad because even my DAD wrapped better than me and my mom said he sucked at it. |'D

Ugh, I sympathize with you Ananth! When I wrap something I usually end up tossing some extra tape on the corners to hold it together, and then what I do to hide my blunder, is before I put the tag on, I turn the present upside down. They'll still be able to tell when they pick it up, but at least it looks a bit nicer under a tree.

When I was in high school and my brother was in college, we had a deal when it came to wrapping gifts. He would pay for ALL the gifts, for everyone on our list (we have a big family: step parents and siblings, nieces and nephews, brothers-in-law, etc), and he would put my name on the presents with his, if I would wrap allllll the presents! It was his way of helping me out since I never had any money and he had quite a lot of money, for a college kid -- AND he was reeeeeallly bad at wrapping! I, on the other hand, got quite good at it through this arrangement! =)
