Laundry cat! She is really friendly and greets us every time we come in. Aw.

One of our neighbor's cats makes almost that exact sound, and casually wandered into our house one day looking to be pet.

Guys I totally have a chirping cat, no jokes. It's the most adorable thing you'll ever hear. My head exploded into bits of candy and fluff the first time I heard her chirp. And she'll only chirp when she wants to be vocal; I rarely ever hear her meow.

My cats chirp all the time at birds they see wandering outside our house.

And I hear you about the heat. I'm in Louisville, Kentucky and the heat index at 10:30 today was 100 even though it was really only 86 degrees at the time. Our heat index is suppose to be at 116 tomorrow.

It was 86 degrees in my room today. The A/C was on too. This is why I do not like summer.

I think it has something to do with all the asphalt. The city of Atlanta used to be several degrees hotter than the surrounding area until they had this tree-planting campaign. I don't know if the increase in the amount of shade or whatever, but it's supposed to be cooler in the city.

I think it's funny that Yuko is playing Pokemon whilst Ananth is reading a book. Don't know who has the better idea.

Replacing the top screen of the DS brick is one of the easier repairs to do (esp. compared to repairing the DS lite)--doesn't even require opening up the bottom half of the case.

The temperature here is expected to drop to -1º C tonight. The minimum temperature tomorrow is -3º C. On Sunday it may drop to -5º C, and is expected to *snow*.

Most of the northeast US has a heat index of 45C. It's pretty miserable, I think I preferred Snowmageddon.

It's like my littlest cat, she runs around chirping all the time. If you walk past her and she runs away she chirps, jumps onto things and she chirps, if she wants attention she makes a high pitch squeal and a chirp lol.

If the laundromat I went to had a laundry cat, it would be a million percent more awesome than it is now. Currently, it is a pit of unyielding drudgery and despair, and every time I set foot in it I have to remind myself that I am not there to end my own existence.

Aww that is really cute! There is a cat by my friend's house and no matter what time of day it is, she will always be right there waiting to get petted the second you leave the confides of your vehicle. It's actually very frightening when you get out of your car at 1am and you hear "thrilling" in the darkness.

You should bring a camera and take pictures next time. I'm sure teh interwebz could use more cats.

Oh good, I thought there was just something wrong with my cat. She hardly ever meows. She "speaks" almost entirely in high-pitched trills and chirps, and I agree that it is almost more cute than my mind can process. I'm glad she's not a mutant after all.

She also has a habit of tilting her head to one side as she does it, which multiplies the cute by a BILLIONJILLION.

I love cats. absolutely adore them. There's a pet store near where I live where they have this big old tomcat called, somewhat unimaginatively, Thomas, and he's ever so friendly to me. A touch slow given how fat he is, but very friendly. But the laundry cat looks so adorable and I wanna hug it. D:
