Blacks and grays predominate my wardrobe. I wish I had that many stripey things. I'm working on it.

Maybe she buys all grey clothes to reflect her comic self, since it's always in black, grey, and white.

If you wanted to you could think that everything is always striped, it's just that seemingly solid things have all the stripes the same color.

Because I only have the vaguest interests in fashion I have a wardrobe built on laziness, all solids of blues, reds, and purples with jeans and jackets always black. Nice and easy.

reminds me of an old time-y fashionable prison uniform, just throw on the ankle shackles.

I do the same thing with black stripes and anything with clock gears

I wear all black all the time for the exact purpose, and you should see my jacket. I never take it off, even during Summer.

Me without jacket is the equivalent to if George stopped smiling.

It's the long dark tea time of the soul. grey stripes are in, and one longs for a nice cup of mint tea with a little milk in it.

I suffer the same wonderful disease, right down to my underwear. I actually have to tell myself, "NO, you already have a shirt like that" every time I walk into Target.

Technically those are hoops/bands, it is only virtical 'stripes' that are called stripes.

I have the same problem except with purple. Through conscious decision making I am able to overcome it and buy clothing that isn't purple, but then I default to teal instead. I am cursed XD

I'm in the same boat! I love jeweltones, but lately it seems that everything I buy is gray. Which I also love. So it works out.

Wasn't it horizontal stripes that made one appear shorter? I thought one of them did.

I had a dream last night that Yuko lived close by. She came to my door trying to sell me organic tamales or something. Looked like she'd been going door-to-door for some kind of fund raiser. I got really excited since it was Yuko, but I wasn't hungry. I tried to convince my roommate to buy one, but Yuko ran out of time and had to go. When she was gone I gushed on my roommate--"Oh my god, do you know who that was?" It was awesome.

My wardrobe (without even looking at it) consists of 90% black or almost black (dark blue.) I found that I subconsciously buy things that won't look like they pick up dye in the wash. I can tell because somehow my socks are the exact opposite of my tops, they're all white with a few rare black ones. The socks all eventually end up grey because I have.... black shoes.
