Yeah it was probably was a Newfoundland. I've had two, they're the nicest dogs, but they're HUGE.

When I was just a little kid I use to ride around on my neighbor's Irish wolfhound all the time! During the winter time we would hook our sheds up to him and take a ride in the snow. Luckily the dog didn't mind and the neighbor got a good kick out of it. It's seriously the best thing, ever.

The cats'll probably like the boxes even more when they're empty.

I thought of doing that many time when I was a kid. We used to put a cow halter backwards on our dog and hook him to a sled. Sit on the sled. Throw a stick. Weeeeeee!

Cricket seems like guarding the boxes with her big big staring eyes. Just saw today a 10 month Irish Wolfhound and I also though it was like a little horse indeed.
