I think Yuko's left-handed style only helps, especially with these last two comics and their subjects. Forgot it was done with the left hand until I read the description, it adds a spooky vibe.

Yuko's left handed drawing gets smoother and smoother. Reminds me of Frank Frazetta, after having a stroke and finding his right hand would twitch he switched to his left hand and after a while found his artwork (especially in pencil) flowed more smoothly after a while.

What Dart said - I'm glad you've got this new gig and all, sounds like fun. But Tessa Stone is. Um. Maybe not necessarily a very constructive person to work with? I mean, there's every chance you know, and you've spoken to her, in which case just good luck to you, but she's bailed on all four of her comics in the past, including one which she was under contract for, and had presold a lot of signed books for. She never even bothered to sign them, and she really dropped 4DE in the shit. I loved her work, but she sounds very difficult to work with.

Are you and Yuko familiar with the animations of Cyriak? I couldn't help but note a similarity between this and his "Welcome to Kitty City" video. I'm enjoying your foray into the gauche!

Ehhh, I figure they knew what they were getting into when they teamed up with Tessa Stone. I mean, her exploits are a bit infamous. There's no way they could team up with her without somehow hearing about all that past stuff from somebody. I figure they had a good long talk about it and decided to go with her anyway.

Though frankly, the way her actions fucked up 4DE's reputation wrongly and fucked over paying customers definitely makes me feel distaste about anything she does...can't get excited over anything she does now.

Our cat (an Abyssinian mix) doesn't do the spacey-look thing, but at about 11:30pm each night she looks up and starts meowing at nothing we can discern. We suspect she's reporting to cat-headquarters the way Mork reported to Orson.

Get in the habit of just drawing with your left hand. When you need your right hand, truly need it, you can take off the glyph inscribed wrist brace that keeps it in check. It can be a signal to your enemies that you're about to get serious.

Left-hand comics tend to be more sinister, I can't help but notice. Please pardon the pun.

I'm getting mixed feelings from this left-hand series. I'm at the same loving it, feeling bad for Yuko's pain and feeling like a monster for celebrating so hard when the Benign Kingdom U$110.000,00 Push Goal was reached on Kickstarter, meaning Yuko will have to draw instead of resting her hand...

I'm also kinda expecting that she'll draw the print with her left hand...
