If you want to get rid of some socks, donate them to your local clothing banks. Foot infections from grody socks are a thing in homeless/very poor populations. I know from personal experience. A clean pair of socks that don't have any holes is a magical thing when you're in that situation.

Too many socks in my drawer. In a love relationship, I think it naturally falls to the cute person to make the horrible puns because being cute, they won't get smacked by the other person (or "victim" as I like to call him).

You must be cautious when making sock puns around socks, for the person closest to the socks automatically gets the rights to sock you with a sock.
