it actually is a very cute skirt

It really is a cute skirt. I didn't force Yuko to get it, but she said the only way she'd ever wear a skirt is if it was given to her. I think she meant it to be dismissive, but I took her at her word and now she is burdened with a black H & M skirt. She actually got another one recently - it's a nice rust color. That might make me Yuko's arch nemesis in her quest to look like a guy ... Love and war and all that, I suppose.

Sooo next time you and the gang are up in NYC I can take you to the H&M in Union Square. Or right off Union Square, someone may berate me on logistics but you can see the damned sign from the square.

Okay, with the way she's is drawn in all the other comics, this is the first time I actually realised Yuko was a girl. :P I know, I know, I should have realised, but you never actually said it before. I think. Did you? I don't know anymore. But yes, Yuko does look very cute in a skirt in this. :P

Yuko's a girl?! Oh geez, this whole time I thought that-- wow. I really should have seen otherwise. I mean, -ko is a feminine suffix! HOW COULD I HAVE MISSED THAT C'MON AUBREY GET A CLUE

(PS: Now that the identity crisis has subsided, Yuko is still one of my personal favorites, and SHE certainly does rock that little skirt.)

I started reading backward from the current strip, when i got linked from QC. I started getting light hints that yuko was a girl, despite all visual evidence to the contrary (and a cast page that didn't help).

I finally went back to the beginning, (this strip) to get final confirmation!

I found you through QC, of course, because I'm lame and stalk them, but I just read, like... everything? tonight of course. I'm insane a little bit

But I love this! Johnny Wander is wonderful and fun and obscene and i couldn't stop snickering when I read this, because I have had that same exact situation

although I beat the skirt that was bought for me, I only wore it wearing knee high boots and black legging things, so it's girlish purpose was slightly defeated
