Megan and I have been best friends since we were seven or so years old? And let's be honest, she turned out pretty much better than me in every way. Sorry, mom and dad.

I was probably the first person that Megan called to tell about Dane proposing, but I wound up being the last person to find out. =_= In any case, congratulations to the both of you! You two are great, and great for each other. I'm so happy for you guys!!

I'll be honest with you Yuko. Med school is over rated. Its gonna age your friend by at least twenty years before her time :(

Then I'm glad I'm deciding to go into the Video Game biz. although I'm sure the sleepless nights staying up in front of a computer screen will eventually get me (which is why i'm practicing for that now, lol)

she may be in med school, have a cat and be engaged, but she doesn't have a totally sweet webcomic, pretty sure you win. Unless she does have a webcomic in which case you might want to consider curing cancer sometime.

I used to work in the wedding business, soul crushing it was.

But I'm sure if she can survive going through med school she can certainly handle the stress of a wedding.

Come on let her wear a suit or something. Would't seeing her in a suit constantly complaining about being made to wear a suit elicit more laughter than seeing her in a dress making similar complaints?

Plus you'd no doubt have the elderly thinking she's a boy which would only generate more lulz

Seriously though, my exboyfriend (not Lynx, the other one) got engaged this past weekend.

So far that's two middleschool/highschool friends married, three engaged. Plus my two college friends who are married, and two who are engaged... and a whole slew of various acquaintences who are married or engaged.

So... yeah. I'm a failure at being an adult.

Never get married thats my advice :D
Seriously I see no benefits to it other than a few legal and tax perks. Do you really need some legal document to say that you like someone?

Plus if the relationship turns sour you don't have to worry about them stealing all your stuff and vice versa.

Sides who wants to be an adult? That means being boring and responsible which is never fun!

So I realize that this is terribly old but I'm a new reader, and my name is Megan....I like to look at this as a glance into my future :D I want to admit though, while I hope to go to med school and some day meet someone to whom I might become engaged....I was most excited about the fact that in the future I will own a kitty cat!!! YES! Congratulations to my past self however :)
