I'd have to agree with you. Nothing say's "Don't Play Me" like a font like that. It's like a train wreck... You know the font is horrible... but you can't seem to stop looking at it... x_X
...Maybe that's how they actually managed to market that.
That's what you get for attending an art school; bad typography will now nag at your brain until you develop nervous tics and go insane.
Although having said that, I kinda like it.
Bad typography makes my eye twitch and I can spot it from a mile off. Ugh.
And, yes, this has been happening ever since I graduated with my degree in graphic design. I will never look at type the same way again.
