Heh, had a lady like that once when I was waitressing. She drew a big astrological/magic map thing on her napkin and kept trying to guess my birth month. Got it right on the 4th try heh. Then asked for my manager and did the same for him, getting upset when she failed and saying that our frequences were misaligned. O_o

It's people like her that give the rest of us a bad name D:(

My mother was a post office clerk but one day I suppose her wrong use of words (chinese is her first language) offended some old lady and now almost everyday that creepy old lady comes in and stands in the background glaring at my mother....

Also and furthermore! When she has something she needs to ship, she purposely chooses my mother so as to glare at her at a closer range.

People like this always make me feel uncomfortable. First off, listening to twelve shades of crazy holds no interest to me. At the same time, I don't want to be rude and say what I really think, which would undoubtedly manifest itself as an entirely accidental, frenzied "NO YOU AREN'T YOU'RE JUST CRAZY DO SOME MAGIC TRICKS OR GTFO."

Instead... I just sit there, nod my head and keep quiet in the hopes they'll magically sense my desire not to be in the conversation, which both unfairly legitimizes their view that they aren't crazy, and reinforces my view that they can sense neither jack nor shit or else they'd have left me the hell alone.
