He says it in this weird cat voice - you can watch videos of other cats doing the same thing. Rook doesn't sound quite the same - when he says hello, it always lilts up at the end, like a question. Anyway, the first time he did it it was pretty creepy because it was in the dead of night and MAN, basically anything in the dead of night is super creepy. 

I didn't realize it was weird that I am right-handed but brush my teeth with my left - I actually do a lot of stuff with my left hand. Yuko doesn't! But she's learning. Johnny Wander, bringing you the finest in wiggly comics.

Hey guys! Hope this week is treating you well so far. We mentioned that Yuko's having some hand troubles so we're doing some comics about hand troubles. You don't really think about all the things you do with your hand until you try to ease off it! And thanks for all the concern and advice, Yuko's got an appointment with the doc very soon.

ALRIGHT so this comic is patently untrue and I am not some jerk who lounges in the AC while Yuko bakes!! But it was funnier to frame it that way so we did. Oh nooo! Hang in there Yuko! I'm ordering you robot hands from Amazon.com and I've got prime so they'll be here in 2 days. Kidding aside, carpal sucks and Yuko is getting plenty of rest and doing all the doctor-prescribed hand exercises. This strip reminds me of another one that I really like.

Tomorrow's the fourth of July! Grilling, fireworks, hopefully not in very close proximity. We got Cricket last fourth of July, actually! So tomorrow's her birthday (as far as we're concerned) and the whole country is unknowingly celebrating it. Cool.
