Oh man, so much to talk about! First: my apologies that the comic is perhaps a tad late, but we all owe my friend and co-worker Emily Compton a great debt of gratitude! She was kind enough to punch a comic out for your viewing pleasure after a tough day of work, so she deserves extra love and props. Hello there Johnny Wander readers! I know this isn't really standard fare, but my friend Rhionna has fallen on some hard times: while between jobs she was diagnosed with brittle diabetes, which has resulted in stage two kidney failure. With no job and no insurance to speak of, she's currently taking commissions for custom shoes to help make ends meet.
You heard me! If there's no comic up in 30 minutes you're not getting a fancy new website!!!
So you all might remember a few comics back we did a comic about how our apartment is almost comedically diverse now. Well, reader and musician Samm Neiland certainly saw it, and in passing told us he was going to write a song for it.

Having survived a small trip to NYC I now return to present you with the contest results! Let it be known that we had 555 submissions, and we evaluated every one of them. It wasn't an easy pick; we narrowed it down to 25 or so that we thought were really solid.
That said, congratulations to theredfish for his excellent submission! YOU ARE THE WINNER. This comic had us in stitches at the beginning of judging; an excellent start to the process.
Hey guys. I got caught with some business out of town, which means that Yuko, John and Ananth have not yet gotten to take part in the judging of the contest. Therefore! as I'd like them to be part of it, winners will be announced on Tuesday. Sorry about that!
