Adam WarRock
Love that wide shot! Yuko so rarely gets to do stuff like that in the usual JW stuff - it's nice to see her flex.
A couple of things:
Epilogue!
You'll remember the shirt we designed for Adam Warrock a while back - I just wanted to let you know that quantities are running low, and he may not reprint them - so get 'em while you can!
I'm keeping this short and sweet because I have a big ol' deadline Wednesday. Thursday marks the return of autiobio comics! See you then!
There's a fine line to walk when it comes to being a regular! From my personal experience if they know your name it's too much. But if they know what you order, that's perfect.
A couple of things to talk about!
First, we'll be at Big Apple Comic Con in NYC this coming weekend! Come by and see us, we'll have books, t-shirts and more.
Hourly comics! We did this last year too, and in 2009 as well. February 1st is a magical day when cartoonists from all over the internet do comics, often about making comics. You know what I want to read? Hourly comics by astronauts. Astronaut diary comics. I think maybe next year on February 1st we'll plan to do something crazy (I'll probably eat those words in a year).
Hahaha ... this one cracks me up. I love the astronaut in his glasses. This comic was actually done hours ago, but we didn't have internet access at that point.
Also: the books arrived! They will be available for sale on September 28th for $12 + shipping (price undetermined for the artist edition), and we will be shipping internationally. For those of you who are looking to pick up a copy earlier, Bergen St. Comics in Brooklyn is now restocked with more copies.
(I'm writing this on the bus going up 95, so bear with any typos - I'll make corrections when I'm home.)
Adam WarRock did a song called Call Me Johnny Wander - it's based on JW, and - well, give it a listen, it's amazing. And see if you can catch all the references - even I was struggling to keep up!
This is the new image from the back of the business card we're handing out at shows. Pretty adorable! Yuko is a mastermind.
We're back from SPX! Thank you to everyone who came out to support us - or just to say hi! The books went like hotcakes and it's all thanks to you guys and gals, so - THANK YOU!! You really made our weekend. One Adam WarRock also made my weekend, but more about that soon!
