Hey guys, so Yuko and I were at Setsucon this past weekend and we spent time with, in no particular order:
My great love for bugs isn't much of a secret. One of my favorite things about summer (I mean it's fall now, but this comic was actually drawn some time during August) is catching/playing with/very nicely harrassing cicadas and cicada nymphs. DON'T LISTEN TO CONRAD, THEY ARE ADORABLE.
We completely forgot to mention -- Rich Stevens, Meredith Gran, and James Kochalka all made small cameos in the last comic.
Hey, we're back from Anime USA! Super special thank you's to the staff for treating us so well and the dealer's room security dudes (Gabriel, Rachel, Vincent, anyone I forgot) for being so awesome and making me into a small living legend among the staff and dealers for drawing those bizarre mutated Kirbies.
