NYC
This happens every once in a while - you can run into people with surprising frequency in NYC. Opposite platforms of a subway station is a terrible place to have a conversation, though ... you just yell and say WHAT? a lot and then you check your phone and pretend like you don't know each other. Be cool bro ... be cool.
We just received the new batch of Catmera charms! They'll be up next week.
Comic is a little late, sorry! It's still kind of crazy around.
Yuko and I spent a couple of days in the city! Managed to see the fireworks (spectacular) and spent an inordinate amount of time on the subway. I'm okay with that ... many things of interest there! Here are some of the more memorable people we saw ... Yuko has provided surprisingly accurate representations of all of them.
To be fair, Monster's Inc. is a pretty fun movie. The guy was just so thugged out, but Pixar, you're so good at touching each of us.
Yuko, John and I were in NYC recently, and when we were done with our business we took an hour to walk around. We went down to St. Marks, and as we were walking past a vendor, I noticed a rack of Kanye West's trademark glasses. Now, a detour: A few weeks ago, while Conrad was gone to Rochester, Yuko took to defacing his 360 avatar once a day ... John and I pitched in, and together we created CONYE, Conrad's ghetto superstar alter-ego. With that in mind, our thought process should be pretty obvious.
Yuko and I were in NYC for MoCCA this year, so that dates this comic by a few months. There's a building across from MoCCA with a sign that says PUCK FAIR, and if you are a smaller person and stand just so, it seems to say something else entirely. Certainly nothing appropriate.
