We've gotten into the habit of watching Bones over dinner, which is often problematic because every episode opens with the grossest, most graphic corpse you can imagine. Each show seems to be out to one up the previous in this regard, and it's become a contest around the apartment to force ourselves to eat through these sequences.

That is precisely the face that Conrad made ... some creatures are better left to the imagination! This little guy would get hunted to extinction pretty quick ... the Quesodillo really does turn it into a race. It's right up there with the Guaca-mole, which, incidentally, goes pretty well with your Quesodillo. 

We've been wanting to do this for weeks. This mini-short concludes on Thursday ... it's the pilot and setup for the Maidens fiction series we'll be doing alongside Girl with the Skeleton Hand and the others. 

Trying to get approved to meet this cat turned into a quest of greater proportion than we had ever dreamed of! From what I understand, most people tend to just walk into a shelter and walk out with a cat, which feels pretty ideal. What're your pet-getting stories? Nice and easy? Horror-story? We're still deciding whether or not to adopt this bitey little gal. 

AHHH everything is happening! We're running out to grab curry with Jisuk, an artist and animator in NYC. But we were good, check out all the things we got you!

Our big crunch time just ended (I think), so hopefully things will get to normal around here! We'll do our best to start doing those midnight posts again ... always feel bad when we fall off the horse. 

Death has stacks and stacks of journals ... we were a little biased when we picked which page to share this time, but I'm sure you'll understand our interest. :) This is an idea we'd been tossing around for some time, since Death has a particularly long lifespan - and he seems the journal-keeping type.
