Hey fellas, I'm back in the States! There are computers here with keyboard layouts that I can understand! This is truly a Garden of Eden.
I'm going to sleep off the jet lag for a few days. I hope you enjoy the guest comics (thank you again Jeph and Jami!) and I'll see you all next Monday! I should have some photos-and-other-things to show off by then.
(If you are commenting and your comment doesn't show up right away, wait about 5 minutes! We're caching in order to handle the rush from Questionable Content. Thanks!)
Hey guys! So here's the first guest comic of the week, written and illustrated by the especially talented Jeph Jacques! It is a thrill having this, since I'm a big fan of Questionable Content and I've been really impressed with how far it - and Jeph - have come along since the comic's inception. I'm a nerd for your comics man!
guest comic - I'LL FORM THE LEGSMon, 06/15/2009
If this comic looks familiar, you're not crazy - it's remarkably similar to one we did a while ago. In the same way that I can't deal with coffee, Yuko can't deal with any of the super sweet drinks that I tend to favor ... most recently the Starbucks green tea frappucino. One new development since that last strip is that I started drinking tea - a lot of it! I got pretty sick the past couple of months, and so tea has become a staple, especially during the colder months.

This is a True Story, and not super relatable unless you ink with steel nibs! They give Yuko wrist cramps and generally seem like a pain in the ass to use (although I think she is using particularly bad ones) ... but it doesn't matter, because sitting on her desk now is an envelope from a brush company in Britain! I'm excited to see how Johnny Wander looks once she cracks those brushes open - they came on high recommendation from some talented folks (I, uh, can't remember who just now).

It was pretty funny, actually ... the guy sincerely thought Yuko was pointing at him, and her illustration of his reaction is an accurate representation. Actually, I think these days he wears a shirt when he lounges on the balcony ... aw.
Edit: I'm going to be at AKON this weekend with Johnny Wander merchandise (prints and Phoenix Down shirts in limited sizes)! Stop by and say hello!
